Ballroom Veronique, Club Longwood - Brookline, MA

I assisted Keirnan Conroy Klosek today. It’s great to assist and not feel the pressure of being the lead. The wedding took place at St. Ignatius. The church was beautiful and as you may know, I really love big ‘ol churches. The group shots were shot on the BC campus and Kiernan did a great job. Wow, she really impressed me with her vision. The reception followed at the Ballroom Veronique at Club Longwood in Brookline. This is a great old ballroom with tudor design. It was simply magnificant and I really enjoyed the layout. Very chic, very cool!!!

Another assist planned for next weekend…stay tuned.

The Booming Wedding Industry - NPR broadcast

I happened to tune into NPR today to hear a great show on the wedding industry. There was great discussion on celebrity weddings, unique ideas for your own, and wedding planners view of the current trend.

– Quote From the Show –

“What’s happening is that the celebrities are sort of setting the bar and because of the incredible access that the average person has to the celebrities’ lives … [regular] brides are inspired… ” — Elizabeth Jenkins

Leicester Country Club - Leicester, MA

I had the pleasure of shooting one of my first few clients today. I met Caitlin and Mario last year when I first started booking weddings. One of the primary memories of our meeting was that Mario had a TA and was in the process of installing a custom stainless exhaust…emmm. Caitlin was very much into what I was shooting at the time. We hit it off and corresponded often. When Caitlins wedding day arrived, I met her at the Hair Salon. We then went for lunch then, to the hotel. I have to say that I had sooo much fun. A blast! I’m honestly blessed to share in this day. The church, St. Joseph’s Chapel at Holy Cross College, was beautiful, a rarity nowadays with more people opting for a JOP. In my opinion, go to a church and more specifically a beautiful one. The reception followed and golf course can be fun places…especially on golf carts. The reception was off the hook! Lots of people dancing, plenty of fun people, and nice white ceilings…yum!
