Jeff Newcum Photography – Boston and Metrowest Wedding Photographer bio picture

Welcome to my Blogosphere!

Jeff started shooting as teenager and knew from the onset that this was a passion that created intense joy in his life. He pursued photography throughout life and in 2004 started shooting weddings. He's constantly striving to create unique images that encompass the excitement and love of your wedding day.

Jeff has worked to stay in the forefront of photography by working with photographers throughout the U.S. who have shared their vision and creative eye with him. His creative skills have been developed further by attending educational events for professional wedding photographers and numerous photography seminars.

Jeff believes in stepping out of the box and seeing the world from a unique prospective. Recently he's ventured into creating unique, stylistic portraits. He loves to create dramatic images that reflect his subjects' boldness. Jeff philosophy is that people, lives, and memories only happen once. He strives to find these moments, scenes, and emotions throughout your wedding day, and depict them in a fun and exciting way.

Water’s Edge Resort and Spa

2nd wedding done! My second wedding was at the Water’s Edge Resort and Spa in Connecticut. It was a bit of a drive and a late night drive home. Audrey and Chris were really fun to work with. I tried some new poses with them and practiced some of the techniques fom the DWF Convention. It was a smaller wedding but, it was full of life and happiness. I love this job! More pictures are here.

Back from the DWF Convention

I’m back from the DWF convention. It was amazing! I meet the best Digital Wedding Photographers in the world. From the likes of Yervant, David and Kassandra Beckstead, JVS, Cliff Mautner, Marcus Bell, Jeff Ascough, Becker, Mike Colon, Bruce Dorn and many more. It was truly inspiring and full of great information. I attendend seminars, a mentoring session with JVS, and we went to the Valley of Fire for a shoot with Yervant. I have some pictures from the convention here. Great Job Jeff Caplan and Gina Preston…. I can’t wait for next year! P.S. That’s me wearing my Boston colors below.
